Reared to write a good thank you note, establishing junkin & hudnall was a natural step for Mississippi artist Jamey Hudnall. His mother always made certain her boys sent their appreciations, congrats, and condolences when needed, a habit that really stuck with her youngest.
Hudnall pairs his Southern-inspired paintings of local color, flora & fare with stationery, honoring her example, believing as she did that saying “Thank You” is both necessary and appreciated.
So send your thanks! Congratulate ‘em! Wish a happy birthday! And when needed, share your condolences. Attach to a gift or drop in the mail. Regardless the occasion, a handwritten note won’t soon be forgotten.
After all, sometimes “Thank You” deserves more than a text message, and like Jamey’s mama, Faye, would say, “It’s just plain good manners, dawlin’!”
